Founder-market fit
I was this product’s customer before I was its founder. So I built V1 myself — nights and weekends, with zero external funding.
For 18 years I built and shipped product inside regulated industries. I know exactly what it feels like to have 50 customer interviews sitting in a folder, a roadmap due Friday, and a compliance policy that makes the obvious tool illegal to use.
ProductMind is the tool I needed and could not buy.
The founder

Eighteen years building product across six regulated sectors — banking, insurance, oil & gas, e-commerce, medtech, and AI/NLG. Deep, first-hand exposure to the compliance constraints that make cloud AI a non-starter for the teams who most need it.
Built and shipped ProductMind V1 solo, on a weekly release cadence sustained for four months, with no outside capital.
Sector experience
Every one of these industries shares the same constraint: customer and operational data cannot be pasted into a third-party cloud. That constraint is the entire reason ProductMind runs on-device.
Why ProductMind exists
Product managers in fintech, healthtech and legaltech have the same AI tools as everyone else — and are not allowed to use them.
Pasting a customer interview into ChatGPT means sending regulated data to a third-party cloud. For a PM at a bank, an insurer or a health provider, that is not a policy debate. It is a hard no from compliance, and it means the biggest productivity shift in a decade routes around them.
ProductMind closes that gap. It runs entirely on your own machine using local models, so interviews, tickets, PRDs and AI memory never leave your device. There is no cloud service to send them to — a materially different claim from promising not to look.
What we build
ProductMind converts raw customer signal into shipped requirements, without any of it leaving your laptop:
- Ingest interviews, support tickets, NPS exports and sales call transcripts (.txt, .csv, .pdf, .md)
- Extract themes ranked across every input, not one document at a time
- Generate problem statements backed by evidence, with every claim traceable to a real customer quote
- Write full PRDs with objectives, scope, requirements, acceptance criteria and success metrics
- Break down dev tickets automatically once a PRD is approved
- Remember your style — persistent AI memory learns your editorial voice and team vocabulary over time
